Cherwell Driving School is for manual transmission driving and is run by Steven Gumbs who is a Driver and DVSA Approved Driving Instructor. Steven is a very experienced driver and has been a full UK licence holder since 1985 (35 years+) with literally hundreds of thousands of miles of driving experience. He is university educated and a former Police Officer and police vehicle response driver. Steven passed his DVSA Approved Driving Instructor test of driving ability with zero faults – Link to copy of the driving test report.
Steven deploys a Client Centred Learning approach with the aim of delivering high standards in driver education and driver development. He has been trained by John Dowling, a DVSA ORDIT Trainer (Official Register of Driving Instructor Trainers) who holds a Grade A 51/51 qualification and is a specialist in Client Centred Learning and educational development.
Cherwell Driving School has been set up with the intention of promoting safe and responsible driving through the development of good driving habits.For learners, we aim to create safe, responsible and confident drivers and achieve the driving test pass standard.For qualified drivers, we aim to make a significant improvement to your current driving ability and take you to the next level.
